FOR PRESCHOOLS

Early years of learners represent a developmental continuum, according to developmental psychology and learning theories. Care is key as health, nutritional, psychosocial and emotional needs have to be met for holistic development. On the other hand, learning includes a process of acquiring knowledge, skills, habits, and attitudes, preparing the young child to enter the formal educational stream.

Ensuring a gradual and smooth transition, Kangaroo Kids Institute for Teacher Development and Research (KITDR) offers a Diploma and Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE).

Our ECCE program highlights the important balance between applying a general knowledge of child development with a particular knowledge a teacher gains by relating with each child and family.

These 100% online training are extremely effective as is proven each time the learning outcomes are measured, using an Impact Measurement Survey.

Microteaching

For Pre-Primary to Grade 5 teachers

How it works:

Conducted to ensure quality and parity in delivery of curriculum across all our network schools, microteaching trains teachers to create resources for delivering concepts effectively and create a support mechanism for new teachers and teachers needing support for the delivery of content.

Knowledge
Sharing and
Contact Sessions

For Grade 6 to
Grade 12 teachers

How it works:

One Principal from a network school leads each subject session and takes decisions on behalf of the group. The Cerebrum Team and the School Development Team work together to decide, dates, lessons to be taken up for Contact sessions and allotment of campuses to take up the lessons.
